What is Therapy like?
Sessions at Keeping Peace are relaxed and informal - you will have space to explore patterns of behaviour and how your past experiences have influenced your current situation. Sometimes you’ll spend the session laughing, and others, crying - but it will be a supportive space where you are encouraged to express yourself.
We’re passionate about helping individuals, youth, and families develop skills to cope with mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD; heal from past trauma; boost communication skills; improve relationships; and manage problematic behaviours.
In weekly or bi-weekly, one-hour sessions, we will develop goals that provide guidance for our sessions and a timeline for change.
After our time together, you will be more able to understand the challenges you've experienced, the dynamics in your relationships, and most importantly, feel heard, confident, successful, and peaceful.
